Ludlow Guildhall

Ludlow's Guildhall, given its 18th century appearance by Thomas Farnolls Pritchard, today celebrated its 550th anniverary as a court and is, at present, the oldest working court in the country.

The Shrewsbury Town Crier came to Ludlow to  proclaim the act of Edward III that set up the Justices of the Peace in 1361.
